The Ontario Commercial Truck Training Association is committed to provide the trucking industry with the highest-quality entry-level driver training programmes possible. The organization was founded in 1989.This comprehensive training programme helps to build and retain public confidence by using good and ethical business practices.
By virtue of their work ethic, members of the OCTTA continue to advocate for safety in the commercial transportation sector.
About OCTTA
The Ontario Commercial Truck Training Association is made up of several Registered Private Vocational Schools as well as other truck driver training organizations in the province of Ontario.
It is one of the OCTTA’s primary goals to guarantee that all new drivers have a sufficient level of knowledge and competence when entering the profession.
These criteria should be handled not just to accommodate corporate demands, but also to guarantee the general public’s safety. The commercial trucking sector in Ontario is about to witness significant changes as a consequence of a collaborative effort between many professional training organizations.
The OCTTA envisions specific standards and educational programs for drivers that are not only more realistic but also significantly more effective than those currently being established by various government agencies, through collaboration and joint efforts of all Ontario trucking schools and the industry.
